Anthony J. Mullen Named NIC Senior Fellow

Annapolis, Md. – Anthony J. Mullen has been named a senior fellow for the National Investment Center
for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC), as announced today by the organization.
“While Tony will step down from his full-time role of research director, we are pleased that he will
continue to consult with NIC as our first senior fellow,” said Robert G. Kramer, president of NIC. “Tony
was one of the original founders of NIC when it was created 17 years ago and has played a key role in
helping to build the organization. We wanted to recognize his many contributions not only to NIC, but
also to the industry, and to continue to utilize his talents and insights,” Kramer added.
“I am genuinely honored with this new role and look forward to continuing to advance NIC’s mission of
enabling the industry to make better investment and management decisions,” responded Mullen. “It’s been
a privilege to be part of creating an organization that is uniformly acknowledged as providing the leading
