Operator-Only Group Discounts
NIC will offer a discount to operators registering three or more people from their company. Registrations must be submitted
simultaneously to receive the following group discounts:
- 3-5 people = $100 off each registration
- 6-10 people = $150 off each registration
- 11+ people = $200 off each registration
* Operator rates are subject to verification and only offered to companies whose current, PRIMARY business
function is the active and direct day-to-day running of senior living facilities. Examples of parties who do not meet this
criteria include developers, passive investors (such as a REIT or an equity fund), passive owners, asset managers, consultants, and service or product providers to operators or owners.
Non-Transactional Attendee Policy
It is the policy of the NIC to preserve and enhance the conference experience of its core constituents - capital sources, owner/operators,
and those who can verify that they directly support seniors housing and care transactions. Accordingly, with respect to any other attendee
(generally, a 'non-transactional attendee'), a premium registration fee shall be charged and collected.
Examples of non-transactional attendees may include, but not be limited to: architects, durable equipment suppliers, employment search firms, interior designers/decorators,
non-durable goods suppliers, pharmacy companies, rehab/therapy companies, risk management consultants, technology consultants and suppliers, etc.
For a complete list, please contact registrar@nic.org.
NIC reserves the right to determine the business category to which any proposed registrant or any event attendee belongs according to NIC's determination
of what constitutes a capital provider, owner, operator or transaction attendee, and to request verifying information in connection with that determination.
Any company unwilling to comply with NIC's business category and rate determination, or request for verification, may be refused registration or attendance at NIC events.
Registering Someone Else?
If you are responsible for registering someone other than yourself from your company for an NIC event (boss, manager, co-worker,
etc.), you must first be identified in our registration system as the Registrar for your company; which gives you permissions
to view and register others within your company. To become your company’s Registrar, email the NIC registrar listing your full
contact information (first name, last name, email address, direct phone number, mailing address, your company title and
fax number). Once your request has been processed, you will receive account information and instructions via email.
